Honeysuckle contains luteolin, chlorogenic acid, and rutin, which have been shown to
inhibit viral replication.
Honeysuckle-derived miRNA2911 has been found to directly bind to and degrade viral
RNA in some viruses, such as influenza and
SARS-CoV-2, reducing their ability to replicate.
Dandelion and Herba Houttuyniae inhibit viral replication by interfering with the
virus's ability to bind to host cells. These two herbs are effective against respiratory viruses,
including influenza and some coronaviruses, as observed in preliminary studies.
